Accommodation

UNSW Sydney is located 4km south of Sydney’s central station. There are several hotels located within walking distance or a short bus ride from campus. We have provided two options for accommodation near the campus, both are walking distance or a short bus ride for Coogee beach.

For those participants wanting to stay in the city, we recommend The Pullman - Hyde Park, where the M10, L94, 396 or 392 buses (on Liverpool or Oxford st) will take you to UNSW.

Closer to Central Station, the 891 bus (UNSW Express) departs from Eddy Avenue every 5-10min.

Trains operate from Sydney International airport to Central Station at a cost of approximately $18.00 one way. Taxi’s from the airport to UNSW campus cost approximately $45.oo AUD.

Australia is a ‘tap and go’ economy, so you will not need to carry much cash with you, most places accept debit/credit cards [VISA/Mastercard] at point of purchase (except American Express, where there are often restrictions)

Located 1.5km from UNSW Kensington and overlooking Coogee beach, the Crown Plaza offers international visitors access to the iconic Australian lifestyle of living near the beach! Please read the rate conditions as some are non-refundable and unable to be changed. Corporate offer to conference participants is If $230.00 this will include breakfast. Please note, some construction noise for internal renovations are expected during the day while participants are at the conference.

Veriu offers apartment living, hotel service, with a neighbourly attitude a short 10min walk from campus.

The 5-star Pullman Sydney Hyde Park hotel is directly opposite Hyde Park and located conveniently in the city centre and a 20min bus ride to UNSW campus.
